17 months

Currently...

Clay's favorite toys are... Cars and trucks, Rubbermaid containers, his stuffed animal friends.

Clay's favorite foods are this is always really hard because he eats everything. Except Lima beans at daycare. He had his first green smoothie this month and l-o-v-e-d it.

Clay's clothing size is... Anywhere from 12 months to 2T. Although I did look at the tag on the shirt he wore today and it said 9 months!

Clay's newest "tricks" are "singing" Wheels on the Bus and Old McDonald, pointing to body parts, "brushing" his teeth and hair, taking selfies on my phone and camera (see a couple below).

Clay weight and height are: he's still holding at 24 pounds. We haven't had a length check lately but I know he's grown because his pants are getting shorter!

Clay's vocabulary consists of: everything. If you say it, he'll attempt it. When he had his tubes put in, the doctor told us we could expect his vocabulary to grow. I thought, "no way, he already talks a lot." Guys, he never stops talking now. Just go take a look at some of my recent Instagram videos.

Clay loves life. He is such a happy little kid. He especially loves mama and dada (dada more that mama :/ lol), being outside watching planes and exploring, eating (I hear, "eat eat eat" all day long), loving on his stuffed friends, and going to Target (for real, I'm not just justifying the four hour trip this last Saturday).

Dear pumpkin butt,
Watching you grow up is so bittersweet. I love each new stage and always think, "this stage is my favorite," but time just goes so fast. You started using a pillow in your crib this month and all I could think was that before I know it, I'll be packing you up for your first sleepover with a friend. You are such a loving little boy and I hope you never lose that. If your dad or I are on the floor with you, you always stop playing periodically and come give us love. As much as you are loving, you are also so silly and I love it! In the mornings when we snuggle in my bed you love to use my eye mask to play peek-a-boo. I'm pretty sure if I let you, you could play for a couple of hours.
A few things to always remember: I will never stop taking at least ten pictures of you daily, you will always be my pumpkin butt, and I love you so very much, sweet boy.
Love, Mama

He is so stinkin' cute! I love that he loves Target - that's cute and convenient, but possibly dangerous for your wallet. haha
